Washington, D.C. — Representative Dave Min (CA-47) released the following statement on his plans to boycott the State of the Union address: 

“Today, the president will deliver the State of the Union address, a longstanding tradition for the past 200 years. I will not be attending.


Each spring, a nation-wide high school arts competition is sponsored by the Members of the U.S. House of Representatives. The Congressional Art Competition began in 1982 to provide an opportunity for members of Congress to encourage and recognize the artistic talents of their young constituents. Since then, over 650,000 high school students have been involved with the nationwide competition.

Washington, D.C. — This week, Representative Dave Min (CA-47) attended the deposition of Les Wexner in New Albany, Ohio. As a member of the House Oversight Committee, Rep. Min was part of a group of five Democrats in Ohio to demand answers regarding Wexner’s ties to Jeffrey Epstein. Following the deposition, Rep. Lyons, Acting Director of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, raising serious concerns over reports that ICE plans to lease office space at 2020 Main Street in Irvine, through the General Services Administration. Min called for immediate transparency regarding the agency’s plans and formally requested that ICE participate in a public meeting with local elected officials, business leaders, and community members before moving forward.

First in MM: Schiff, Min pitch updates to financial disclosures — California Democrats Sen. Adam Schiff and Rep. Dave Min introduced a bill that would require government officials to provide more detail about large financial holdings and income. Under the Financial Disclosure Modernization Act, officials would have to report income sources and holdings that exceed $1 billion.
