DC Scheduler/Office Manager

Location: Washington, DC

Salary: $65,000 - $75,000 annually

Representative Dave Min (CA-47) is seeking an experienced, organized, and proactive DC Scheduler/Office Manager to join our Washington, DC office. This role is responsible for managing the Congressman’s schedule while serving as an operational partner to the Chief of Staff. The Scheduler/Office Manager plays a central role in ensuring the office functions smoothly and that the Member’s time, resources, and priorities are aligned.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent judgment, strong communication skills, a high level of discretion, and the ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. This position is not entry-level and will require flexibility to work extended hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee the Congressman’s daily and long-term schedule in Washington, DC 

  • Respond to and track all incoming meeting, event, and scheduling requests

  • Coordinate closely with the Member, Chief of Staff, and senior staff to align scheduling decisions with office priorities

  • Provide direction and guidance to the District Scheduler

  • Coordinate all official travel, including flights, lodging, and ground transportation

  • Oversee front office operations, including supervision of the Staff Assistant.

  • Support the Chief of Staff and Financial Administrator with office operations, including budgeting, reimbursements, onboarding, and administrative systems

  • Ensure compliance with House rules and internal office policies

  • Anticipate operational challenges and proactively resolve issues

  • Coordinate with legislative, communications, and district staff to ensure briefing materials are prepared for all meetings and events

  • Perform other administrative duties as assigned

Ideal Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience managing complex schedules and office operations

  • Strong organizational judgment and exceptional attention to detail

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism

  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines

  • Prior Capitol Hill, scheduling, and/or campaign experience strongly preferred

  • Commitment to public service and constituent engagement

District Scheduler

Location: Costa Mesa, CA

Salary: $57,000 - $65,000 annually

Representative Dave Min (CA-47) is seeking a highly organized District Scheduler to join our Costa Mesa office. This role is critical to the office’s daily operations. The District Scheduler will work closely with the Member, District Director, Chief of Staff, and DC Scheduler to maintain the Congressman’s daily schedule while he is in California.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong judgment, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to communicate clearly with internal and external stakeholders in a fast-paced environment. The District Scheduler will occasionally be asked to work extended hours and under tight deadlines. 

While this position will report to the District Director, the District Scheduler will also work closely with the DC Scheduler/Office Manager. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain the Congressman’s daily and long-term schedule for commitments in California

  • Assist the DC Scheduler/Office Manager 

  • Respond to and track all incoming district meeting, event, and scheduling requests

  • Coordinate transportation for all official events in district  

  • Communicate schedule updates and changes to the Member, staff, and external stakeholders in a timely manner

  • Work closely with the District Director and Deputy District Director to arrange meetings and events on behalf of the Congressman, liaising directly with constituents and external stakeholders regarding the Congressman’s availability and other pertinent details

  • Draft memos for district events, coordinating with legislative, communications, and district staff to ensure briefing materials are prepared for all meetings and events in district 

  • Maintain accurate scheduling records and calendars

Ideal Qualifications

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Sound judgment and discretion in handling sensitive information

  • Ability to adapt quickly and manage competing priorities

  • Prior scheduling or campaign experience strongly preferred
