Veterans

I am committed to protecting the brave men and women who put their life on to protect our freedoms. I’m working to guarantee that veterans have access to quality healthcare, housing, and other essential services. As a member of the House Oversight Committee, I am working to demand answers from Elon Musk’s firing of the federal workforce, including the thousands of veterans illegally laid off by the Trump administration. I am also committed to further expanding our veterans’ access to federal programs, care, and benefits. I joined colleagues to introduce the Feed Hungry Veterans Act, which would expand veteran SNAP eligibility, and the Major Richard Star Act, which would fix certain retirement pay issues for veterans who were medically retired because of wounds they sustained during combat.
