Internships

Thank you for your interest in applying to work for the office of Rep. Dave Min (CA-47). Our D.C. and District Offices offer part-time and full-time internships for students who are currently enrolled in college or those who have recently graduated. Internships run in the Spring (Jan-May), Summer (May-August), and Fall (August-December). However, we are flexible regarding specific start and end dates. A typical day will begin at 9:00 a.m. and end at 5:00 p.m. We offer both paid-internships and those for college credit.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to answering constituent phone calls, helping with constituent correspondence, attending hearings and briefings, leading tours of the Capitol, conducting research, greeting office visitors, assisting with casework, and sending out flag requests. The ideal candidate has strong critical thinking ability, excellent customer service skills, and an applied understanding of the legislative branch. CA-47 ties preferred.
