Washington, D.C. — Following the Trump administration’s decision to illegally cancel roughly $8 billion of federal funding for clean energy projects, including $1.2 billion for the Alliance for Renewable Clean Hydrogen Energy Systems (ARCHES) Hydrogen Hub, Rep. Dave Min, along with Representatives Mike Levin and George Whitesides, led the full California Democratic delegation in a letter to Energy Secretary Chris Wright condemning the Department of Energy’s (DOE) cut to ARCHES, and demanding the funding be restored.
Washington, D.C. — Following the Republican federal government shutdown, Representative Dave Min (CA-47) requested his pay be withheld until the federal government is fully reopened.
“I cannot in good conscience collect my salary while millions of federal workers, including members of our military, are not receiving their income,” said Rep. Min. “I stand with our military service members and federal workers during this government shutdown.”

Washington, D.C. — Following the unprecedented decision by Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) Director William “Bill” Pulte to personally refer several political or elected officials to the DOJ for criminal prosecution for alleged mortgage fraud, Rep. Dave Min (CA-47) wrote a letter to the FHFA Inspector General’s Office demanding an investigation into Pulte. Rep. Min is requesting that they open an investigation into whether Pulte violated any laws by misappropriating and misusing non-public mortgage data related to Federal Reserve Governor Lisa Cook, U.S.
Washington, D.C. — On Friday, Representative Dave Min (CA-47), a former SEC prosecutor and member of the House Oversight Committee, questioned Alex Acosta, the US attorney responsible for Jeffrey Epstein’s sweetheart plea deal. Following his questioning, Rep. Min remarked that Acosta’s answers were “evasive, he obfuscated, and they were just not believable,” concluding that there is a lot of evidence being hidden.
