STATEMENT: Rep. Dave Min on Newly Released Epstein Emails

November 12, 2025

Washington, D.C. — Following Democrats on the House Oversight Committee releasing emails from the Epstein estate, Representative Dave Min (CA-47) issued the following statement:

“With Adelita Grijalva—who now holds the unfortunate record of the longest gap between being elected and being sworn into Congress—about to take the oath of office, the White House is furiously trying to convince one of the House Republicans who signed the discharge petition to force a vote on the release of the Epstein Files to withdraw their signature, thus preventing these files from being fully released to the public.

Whether or not the White House is successful in its efforts, it is clear from the documents just released by my Democratic colleagues and me on the House Oversight Committee that Donald Trump was not only allegedly aware of Epstein’s child sex trafficking but that he may have been an active participant.

I am praying for the survivors of this horrendous sex trafficking ring, many of whom showed incredible courage in coming forward while knowing that they were going up against some of the most powerful people in the world. I hope they receive the justice they are seeking, that they achieve some measure of closure, and that their faith in America’s legal system is upheld. This cannot be a country that allows the rich and powerful to get away with preying on our children, and I will continue to fight for transparency, accountability, and justice.”
