Rep. Dave Min, Member of Litigation and Rapid Response Task Force, Defends American Consumers in Court
Rep. Min: “Donald Trump and Elon Musk are doing everything in their power to enrich themselves at the expense of the American people, and we are fighting to stop them”
Washington, D.C. — Representative Dave Min (CA-47), appointed by House Leadership to serve on the Litigation and Rapid Response Task Force to combat illegal and extreme actions taken by the Trump administration and Elon Musk, joined an amicus brief in defense of American consumers and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) in the matter of National Treasury Employees Union (NTEU), et al. v. CFPB Acting Director Russell Vought, et al. before the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia.
As detailed in the amicus brief, President Trump has imposed devastating harm on American consumers. In his effort to “shut down” CFPB, Trump intends to eliminate the agency that protects Americans from unfair, deceptive, and abusive corporate practices, enabling his corrupt billionaire friends who are serving as his top advisors.
“As an SEC enforcement attorney, I took on corporate fraud and Wall Street corruption, because Americans deserve a financial system that operates fairly and transparently,” said Rep. Min. “That is precisely why Congress created the CFPB and funded it through our legislative and appropriations powers – powers which the Constitution gives exclusively to Congress. Donald Trump and Elon Musk are now trying to illegally and unconstitutionally ‘delete’ the CFPB, at a time when it is needed more than ever, to help their scam artist buddies and to continue to undermine the rule of law in our country. We must continue to stand up to this lawlessness and for the best interests of the American people.”

Rep. Min has been outspoken about the threat of Trump and Musk. This week, Rep. Min introduced the BAD DOGE bill, which would repeal President Donald Trump’s executive order establishing and implementing DOGE.
