WATCH: Rep. Dave Min Demands Accountability at ICE Field Office in Orange County, Slams "Unsatisfying" Responses
Washington, D.C. — Representative Dave Min (CA-47), a member of the House Oversight Committee, went to the Santa Ana ICE field office to seek answers to questions related to the conduct of ICE agents, ICE operations and detainments occurring in Orange County, and who ICE agents are targeting.
After the meeting, in a new video, Rep. Min slammed the “unsatisfying and obfuscatory” responses he received from ICE personnel. Rep. Min said he “couldn’t get a straight answer from them about anything” and they refused to provide clarity into recent ICE actions in Rep. Min’s district, including ICE raids in Irvine.

Immediately after the ICE field office meeting, Rep. Min held a tele-town hall with thousands of his constituents detailing his experience at the ICE office and ICE’s refusal to provide answers. He updated his constituents on the numerous actions he has taken to hold ICE accountable, including a letter seeking answers from the Department of Homeland Security Inspector General regarding many reports of ICE agent misconduct and a letter standing up for Iranian-Americans who have been unfairly targeted by ICE agents. He also penned a recent op-ed blasting Congressional Republicans giving President Trump a $170 billion blank check for his immigration agenda.
