Washington, D.C. — Following the Republican federal government shutdown, Representative Dave Min (CA-47) requested his pay be withheld until the federal government is fully reopened.
“I cannot in good conscience collect my salary while millions of federal workers, including members of our military, are not receiving their income,” said Rep. Min. “I stand with our military service members and federal workers during this government shutdown.”
Rep. Min’s letter is attached here. Rep. Min has cosponsored legislation to ensure service members are compensated during a government shutdown.
