Rep. Dave Min Tours Local Business, Learns How Republican Budget Will Harm OC Businesses

June 2, 2025

Irvine, CA — Today, Representative Dave Min (CA-47) toured OC Solar, a local solar panel installation company in Irvine to learn how Republicans’ proposed cuts to clean energy will affect their business. OC Solar employs over 100 Californians who could lose their jobs if clean energy tax incentives are not protected. For nearly a decade, OC Solar has helped Orange County families invest in cleaner, more sustainable energy solutions for their homes. This budget puts both clean energy companies and California’s environment at risk.

“As climate change continues to accelerate, we should be investing heavily in clean energy, not kneecapping the businesses that help fight back against the climate crisis,” said Rep. Min. “Companies like OC Solar provide clean energy jobs that help bring us toward a more sustainable future. We must push back against the Republican budget to protect our local economy and  California from the devastation of climate change.”
